Business and Economic Development Intern

Business and Economic Development Internship

 Program Description

As a business and economics intern, you will be introduced to projects that deal specifically with governance, market research, and human and infrastructure development. Further, Business-Econ interns will be placed into a collaborative and cross-disciplinary environment to cultivate teamwork and an ability to discuss different fields related to business and economics. In this environment, Business-Econ interns will be expected to undertake responsibilities that include economic and social policy research, and analysis for data collection purposes. These projects will increase the awareness of the business-economic intern to be aware of the political, economic, and socio-cultural experience in developing nations.

At She Grows It, you will be introduced to research and analytical techniques that will give you the necessary tools you need to be effective in your career path. Specifically, Business-Econ interns will research topics that deal with countries in Africa. These topics can all be extremely varied, but the overarching goal is to further understand these countries with lexicons that are based in healthcare, tourism, travel policy and safety, economics, and their respective markets for investment and growth. After the countries have thoroughly been researched, each intern will begin an analysis process. In brief, this analysis process is used to determine which countries have industries that can be consulted by our She Grows It team for economic growth that doesn't negatively affect the environment.

Our She Grows It team will not only offer you valuable tools to cultivate your research and analysis abilities, but also we will support you in skills that relate to job development. We use tools that empower and educate our interns. For instance, we hold professional seminars and lectures that aim to teach methods of framework, introduce new perspectives and also challenge perspectives. Intern job development for practical use in today's ever changing world is our number one priority. We want to ensure that each intern has the opportunity to grow their skill set in such a way that employers choose our interns first. In summary, as a Business-Econ intern, we will provide you the necessary research and analysis mechanisms to support your academic career, whilst also receiving training that will build your effectiveness as a professional in the global marketplace.
