The Pathways to Formalization Program enrolls business owners like you in educational and training programs specific to your business type that enhance industry standards and sector growth by teaching transferable skills that increase the profitability and formality of your enterprise. Every year, we measure the number of formal enterprises in your area, type, industry, and sector based on a sample of enrolled businesses. We then promote your growth to agency partners, who can provide financial and mentorship support for the continued growth of the formal business ecosystem.
The Program
We are currently offering a 2-phase formality and compliance program in Ghana. Combined, both programs will result in an increased number of tax-compliant businesses practicing business in the formal sector. The Payment Pathways Program qualifiers depend on completing your Educational Program requirements and conditions. The Education Pathways Program you qualify for depends on your goals for your business and your business’ history and conditions.
Educational Pathways for Enhancing the Future of Business
We provide resources and funding to limit informal business practices and increase your business growth over the next 10 years. Across 215 types of business, 72 industries, and 11 sectors, this Program promotes regenerative economic growth.
Payment Pathways for Growing Formal Businesses
If you are already tax compliant (such as declaring income, filing a return, and paying the tax due in a timely manner) or have a plan to become tax compliant, we provide resources and funding to remove barriers or other competing factors that prevent sustained tax compliance.
