Management Internship
Program Description
At SGI, we utilize Management interns as Project Managers with the greatest amount of leadership responsibility. As a PM, you will be given an internship program that directly relates to your field of study and/or choice. The internship programs that we have to offer prospective PMs range from Finance to Business Administration and Research (see below for full outline). In detail, as a PM, you will be expected to lead your specific intern program in all aspects of their internship experience. For instance, you will be expected to conduct weekly meetings with your team, lead educational seminars that relate to your projects, and be readily available to assist your interns with any inquiries that come up. Furthermore, Management interns will be expected to meet with Dr. Ashley Milton, our CEO, weekly in order to discuss the progress of your intern program and any goals Dr. Milton has set.
This internship program is designed to help build the ability of future leaders in the global business practice and policy environment. SGI will bring forward the necessary tools to help you in this path and the path of your chosen career. For instance, we hold professional seminars and lectures that aim to teach methods of framework, introduce new perspectives and also challenge perspectives. Intern job development for practical use in today's ever changing world is our number one priority. We want to ensure that each intern has the opportunity to grow their skill set in such a way that employers choose our interns first. Moreover, we utilize a collaborative and cross-disciplinary environment to ensure that teamwork, accountability, and support are also available to you at any moment. The management intern program has the most responsibility attached to it. However, the reward from leading your own team, meeting deadlines, and ultimately helping SGI create a version of the world that upholds sustainability in economic growth, is extremely worth it.
