Translation and Public Relations Intern

Translation and Public Relations Internship

Program Description

As a translation intern, you will be introduced to projects that specifically deal with building relationships with future clients, employees, and interns. Translation interns will also take part in the translation of documents. These documents will currently be translated between the English and the French language. Moreover, you will also be introduced to a collaborative and cross-disciplinary team environment. We use this kind of environment to ensure teamwork coupled with self discipline is maintained as a priority.  In this environment, translation interns will be expected to undertake responsibilities that coincide with building a relationship between African countries and She Grows It.

Our translation interns are tasked with some of the most important details that help our company achieve success in the development industry. We take pride in supporting our strategic communications interns due to the severity of their projects. The ultimate goal of the projects is to connect our company to individuals, nation-states, and other companies that do not hold English as their first language. Of course, this is of extreme importance. She Grows It holds a mission of creating a community that upholds our values of how to treat the world. Without the translation communication branch, we wouldn’t be able to have a substantial impact in non-English speaking countries.

At She Grows It, we use tools that empower and educate our interns. For instance, we hold professional seminars and lectures that aim to teach methods of framework, introduce new perspectives and also challenge perspectives. Intern job development for practical use in today's ever changing world is our number one priority. We want to ensure that each intern has the opportunity to grow their skill set in such a way that employers choose our interns first. In summary, as a translation intern, we will provide the necessary research and analysis mechanisms to support your academic career, whilst also providing training that will build your effectiveness as a professional in any industry that deals with strategic communications.
